ps: 在跳之前,指导员的ipod正在play着的歌曲是"half way to the hell" @_@

happy birthday.

After so many years, first time celebrating my birthday without my closest friend;
and also in another country.

I'm lucky as we found out movie ticket was cheap on that day, so me and my sister decided to go for a movie as my b'day present. <Eat.Pray.Love> the movie that I wanted to watch long time ago, they still showing here...really outdated. haha! and we buy us b'day meal - chinese cuisine that we always eat in Malaysia....dang dang dang dang~ yea...is chicken rice ;p after so many days of western food, finally we decided to pamper ourselves with slightly expensive chinese meal.

soup - although is abit salty but is nice

 chinese tea for free~

bbq chicken rice, with super big portion of rice =.=''

 char siew fun :)

tiring look ~ after so many hours of bus ride.

Although feeling a bit lonely on b'day but yet still a unforgettable experience. Thank you everyone who wish me in facebook, suddenly felt that I have so many friends.... suddenly pop out so many friends...new friends, old friends, hi bye friends...doesn't matter, i know many people care about me, that's make me feel warm. :)

The 2nd day in Queenstown now, online-ing in internet cafe.
This is a beautiful town, wish to stay longer here.

Beautiful lake and mountain view from my hostel. Everyday when I wake up, that's the first thing I see. :)

Still, my life here full of uncertainty. Tiring moving from place to place; tiring because not get a job yet =.= what to do? that's life! hakuna matata~ ^^

appreciate.

It's been a long time i didn't cook a proper meal since I work very hard and busy all the time; even not cooking at home while having a month break in Kluang. >.<

Today, we have a challenge - serve a malaysia's dinner for my wwoofing family. We look for the easiest dishes that we can cook, of cause is chinese dishes as I'm not familiar in malay food...thinking of nasi lemak at first, but where to search for ikan bilis le? Finally, we get to buy soy sauce, not the pekat one, too bad... chinese food needs that badly.

Dishes for tonight:
1. soy sauce chicken with potato and onion
2. fried cabbage with garlic
3. sweet potato soup dessert (but they treat it as main meal) @_@
4. fried potato with egg (for children only) since we only get one egg in chicken house-bad chicken

We are so lucky to get very good feedback from the family, especially the sweet potato soup even the father's parent love it very much. :) However, the portion that we prepared seems like not enough as everyone was so hungry. Have a good chat with the grandfather, nice old man.

Found out that they really like to eat dessert, which is our junk food eg.ice cream, tinned fruits, chocolate, chips etc. Dessert more than dinner food. No wonder their size of body goes big~ ;p If in malaysia, we already get scold by mum. haha~

today's motto: when you get away from home, you start to appreciate more. Love your life, your family and everything! 感恩。

wwoofing.

Doing wwoofing in Te Uku, a small village that not even have a bus stop. @_@
All the way to Te Uku are mountains; sheep; cow; and trees. Making me dizzy on the bus. Luckily we didn't get off at the wrong station.

First day doing gardening is a raining day yet we still work under the rain with big raining coat and big hoe. Our task is to clean all the weed around the planted trees and vegetables, that's not easy at all since it's a raining day and cold & wet. After an hour, we force to get in the house cause the rain was getting bigger and wind blowing strong. By that time we already full of mud and wet on entire body. So, the owner decided to let us to do some housework-vacuum. Then, I followed mum and the children to town for some grocery shopping. Children are really annoying, and i'm not a good baby sitter.

They have 4ha of house compound, including the house, garden and grasses. Nice scenery surrounding the house. Is a good place for retirement and relaxing but not for me; it's really boring. I really a busy type person. Want to get job fast! but being rejected by many farm, it's really really not easy as I think before this. Stress now.... =.=  Feel moody.

Have to learn how to relax~ but planning is important...day past day without the next move and target  make me feel worry. Somemore need to take care of my sister, she is so easy going on everything. swt....

ps: wondering no photos? uploading very slow, and afraid that will use too much of their broadband usage so I give up upload photo.

auckland.BIG little city

auckland, BIG little city

the 3rd day in auckland, the 8th days away from home.
didn't enjoy much in auckland cause the main purpose in auckland is to settle all the important application eg. open bank account, apply IRD number. waste quite lots of time on settling those stuff especially we forgot to translate our driving licence in english (our driving licence in malay, why? @_@ )
finally get translation for my licence in english, this allow me to apply my IRD and drive in NZ. it cost me NZ$50, actually can done it with RM10 in JPJ m'sia.

places that i went. not many since we are not here for too many days. the auckland tower was not tall at all, can't even compare to melbourne skydeck. so i skip the visit to the top of auckland tower. i better go to twin tower in KL. hehe ;p didn't took much photos too as i would like to save my hdd memory for more beautiful scenery later on~ south island, nz.

we are luckily to met our first new friends in airport while we declaring our baggage. she is a m'sian, 前韵律操国手, now is a wedding make up artist, have been traveled to many countries since 2008 and now in NZ, she is superb. :) she shared alot of travel stories with us and all of her research of NZ, that's really useful to us. hopefully the following months we can travel together. A German girl we met on the airport bus to city when we heading to the same hostel. Nice and pretty girl, she've come to the end of her journey; going back to Germany next week.

using internet in NZ is expensive, $2 per hour in internet cafe @_@  i missed m'sia internet although it's slow but is unlimited usage. haha~

there's a photography exhibition on the street, then i found out i've watch this exhibition 5 years ago in s'pore orchard road. 5 years later, i seen it again in NZ street. what a coincident! :)
heading to our next destination tomorrow - Te Uku, WWOOFing in a NZ family. that will be a 3 hours plus bus journey from auckland to their house. spending times on transport; that's traveling~ but the public transport here are expensive too, is better to buy a car or rent a car if you come for vacation.
a fun statement in NZ. sheep are more than people in here. :)

is 11.15pm in auckland now. wish me good luck for my journey in NZ :)
